Information and Advice Service

If you're disabled person, a carer or advocate, you may prefer to talk to someone who has personal experience of disability. Disabilty Equality is run and controlled by disabled people.

Trained advisers, many with first hand experience of disability themselves, provide a confidential service with the time and privacy you need to talk about your information or advice needs. This is independent and completely free of charge.

Form-filling Service

We can help you to complete most forms for any purpose.   Often there relate to benefits.   We can help you identify which benefits you qualify for, and what other resources you can call on.

Disability Living Allowance forms are very complex, so please book your appointment for help with these as soon as you receive the form - there is always a waiting list.

Call the helpline or visit us between:

9.30am and 4pm

Monday to Thursday
