Disability equality training
We have several years experience of delivering Disability Equality Training. Our approach is based on understanding the social model of disability and using this to explore the history of disability and disabled people, how barriers are created and removed in current society, and how modern stereotypes, portrayals and images of disabled people affect our prevailing attitudes. The training seeks to challenge these.
Sessions also include a thorough briefing on current legislation particularly the Equality Act 2010.
Training can be designed to suit your organisation/group's own needs.
