What do we do?
We campaign for:
- Better Access
- More awareness of deafness and disability
- Full inclusion of deaf and disabled people in all areas of life.
At our meetings we:
- Meet and make new friends
- Discuss current issues facing deaf and disabled people
- Work in partnership with local stakeholders in Chorley and South Ribble
- Address specific local issues
- Influence policy and practice of local agencies promoting independence and improved quality of life.
Chorley & South Ribble Disability Forum offers a chance to have your voice heard.
We meet regularly with local service providers to talk about how they can make their services better for deaf and disabled people.
We offer information on disability issues to individuals and to local statutory, voluntary and private organisations.
Membership is free. You are very welcome to join us!
