CAN Cumbria Advice Network

CAN is not a specialist disability network but they have member agencies and projects across the Cumbria region covering a wide range of issues of importance to disabled people - housing, welfare rights, legal advice, children and family, community projects and adult services .
At the moment DENW can't offer face-to-face outreach in Cumbria, but we are working on providing some sessional advice surgeries, when we can secure the resources. These may probably be in Lancaster and Kendal. In the mean time we will try to signpost you to an agency closer to your home
You can still use our advice line - 01772 558863
or
email -
go to our contact-us page to do this. If you include a telephone number we will always try to call you as well.

CAN also have their own website which you can access here.
